about the author Mufti Muhammad ibn adam al-Kawthari is a traditionally-trained Islamic scholar who studied the arabic language and various other Islamic sciences in different parts of the world including the UK, Pakistan and Syria. He has authored many works including ‘Islamic Guide to Sexual relations’ and ‘birth Control & abortion in Islam’, and lectured extensively around the world on a range of topics. Presently, he resides in leicester, UK, where he is a teacher of the Islamic sciences, and Director and researcher at the Institute of Islamic Jurisprudence (Darul Iftaa, www.daruliftaa.com)
